Wednesday, May 8th is National Bike/Walk to School Day!  Hampton Elementary would like to celebrate this event by inviting all students to ride their bikes or walk to school.  There are bike racks located in front of the old high school entrance for those that can participate. We know that some students ride the bus or van to school so it is more challenging to participate, so at 8:15 AM on May 8th the entire elementary will walk a town mile together.  We welcome any community members to walk with us!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL May 17th @ 12:00 PM…..Unfortunately, winter’s wrath led to five full snow days, two late starts and one 1:00 PM dismissal due to ice.  These weather related cancellations have created a deficit on necessary minutes in session that are required by Rule 10.  Therefore, we will need to use one of our scheduled weather related make-up days and move the last day of school to Friday, May 17th @ 12:00 PM.
