Congratulations to the Hampton Speech Team!!!  As a team they finished as District D-2-1 Runner Up!!!  Dante Farris finished 6th in Entertainment, Alan Gretch finished 5th in Persuasive, “It’s a Wonderful Neverland” OID members Nathan Boyce, Ty Ogden, Johnathan Poma, Jesse Rasmussen, and Tayma Sebek finished 4th, Rachel Dowling finished 3rd in Informative, “Boys Night Out” OID members Travis Bankson, Tristan Boyce, Trevin Sebek, and Ethan Smith finished 2nd, and Chantal Lawson finished 1st in Entertainment and 2nd in Poetry!!  “Boys Night Out” OID, Rachel Dowling, and Chantal Lawson qualified for the State Speech Contest next Friday.  We are so proud of the entire speech team!  Go Hawks!

SAVE THE DATE ~  The elementary will be hosting a "FAMILY FITNESS NIGHT....CARDIO FOR COMPUTERS" on Friday, May 2nd.  This fun filled evening will be taking the place of the annual school carnival, so we hope you make plans to join us.  More information about the event will be sent home with students during the month of April.

Federal regulations require all schools to inventory asbestos containing materials in their  buildings and annually inform patrons and employees of the existing management plan.  The plan for HPS is available for inspection to the general public, teachers, and other school personnel.  The plan is available at school for anyone to look at, or if you wish to have a copy, you may have one within 5 days of your request for the cost of duplication.

The end of the third quarter is Thursday, March 13, 2014.  Junior High and High School grade reports will be emailed to parents/guardians on Wednesday, March 19.  If you do not receive the email, please let Mr. Gunderson know.  Elementary report cards will be sent home with students.
NEW ~ Elementary Yearbooks!!! The elementary will be offering students in grades PreK-6 an opportunity to purchase a 2013-14 yearbook.  The yearbook will feature individual and class photos, support staff, teachers, administrators and a page for autographs.  The cost of the elementary annual is $8.00 and will be delivered before the end of the school year.  Order forms are being sent home with students OR you can also download an order form on the school homepage.  All orders should be turned in to classroom teachers or the office by Friday, March 21st.
