An excerpt from the Grand Island Independent - written by Danielle Hauser, a mother of two who lives in Florida.  As parents, we can’t always choose who we think is the best leader for our kids.  The same is true for coaches, dance teachers and other people who guide and instruct our children.  Kids grow and learn from different teaching styles and disciplines, and this helps shape their future.  I loved some of the teachers I had growing up, while others I just liked.  Some were tough while others were lenient, but I still learned from them all.  The variety of personalities and philosophies make us well-rounded.  As parents, we want our children to have a top-notch education.  We need to have confidence in our teachers and not judge them based on others’ opinions.  A teacher who isn’t rumored to be the best might end up being the most wonderful teacher your child has every had.
