The Holiday BB Tournament in Mead will be held Friday, December 28th and Saturday, December 29th.  The schedules have the wrong dates of December 27th & 28th.  Please take note of this change over the holiday.

When school resumes on January 3rd, the bus routes will reverse.  If you are first on this semester, you will be last on second semester.  On LeRoy’s route the Aurora students pick-up and drop-off time will not change, only the Hampton students order will reverse.  Please call the school office if you have any questions.

Alumni Recognition Night and the Dale Young Memorial Dedication will take place on Saturday, January 5th.  We will be honoring the 1973  and 1988 State Championship Teams at halftime of the girls basketball game.  We will also have a special dedication in memory of Dale Young during halftime of the boys basketball game.  The Booster Club will be serving a baked potato bar with the proceeds going to support Dale Young’s Memorial.  Please make plans to join us as we honor these special individuals in Hawk History!!!

The Junior Quiz Bowl Team brought home the championship trophy from the CRC competition!  Quiz Bowl members include: Andrew Bloom, Christian Deepe, Caleb Dowling, Dante Farris, Tristin Mason, Jaime Troester, Katie Bloom, and Tyler Wall.  The coach is Gary Richards.  We are proud of you!  Great job!!

Blue 84 Spirit Wear order forms are available at the high school office.  You can also order online at www.blue84spirit.com/HAMP.   Orders need to be place by November 29th.  These are some of the same items we had for sale about two months ago.  We received several requests to have them available again.  They would make great Christmas gifts and you will receive them before Christmas break!!

The Hampton VB team will play Monday, October 29, at 7:30pm at St. Paul.  We will play the winner of St. Edward - Heartland Lutheran game.  When we win this game we will play Tuesday at 7pm at St. Paul in the Sub-District Finals.  Good luck to the VB team and coaches!!  Complete brackets are on the school website.






Join the Hampton Community Club for “Trunk or Treat” on Wednesday, October 31st, on Main Street from 4-6pm.  Trunk or Treat is a Halloween event that will be sponsored by the Hampton Community club.  People gather and park their cars along main street.  They open their trunks, or the backs of their vehicles and decorate them.  Then they pass out candy from their trunks.  The event will provide a safe family environment for trick or treaters.

We ask parents to please avoid driving vehicles between the elementary and high school buildings.  Students transition back and forth between the two buildings regularly and we want to make sure they cross safely.  Thank you for your attention to this request!

The Hampton Cheerleaders have three Homecoming T-Shirts left.  They have 1 Youth size small, 1 Adult size small, and 1 Adult size large.  They are $10 each.  The shirts are grey w/purple “Hawk Pride”.  There are also four adult size small purple shirts with “Tradition Starts Here” from Homecoming last year for $5.  Send money and a note to school or stop in to purchase.

Federal regulations require all schools to inventory asbestos containing materials in their  buildings and annually inform patrons and employees of the existing management plan.  The plan for HPS is available for inspection to the general public, teachers, and other school personnel.  The plan is available at school for anyone to look at, or if you wish to have a copy, you may have one within 5 days of your request for the cost of duplication.

Community Pride Day will be held Friday, October 26th starting at 1:30pm.  If weather permits, 7-12 grade students will be raking, cleaning gutters, and washing windows.  Hampton High School students have been providing this service for almost 40 years!

Join the Hampton Community Club for “Trunk or Treat” on Wednesday, October 31st, on Main Street from 4-6pm.  Trunk or Treat is a Halloween event that will be sponsored by the Hampton Community club.  People gather and park their cars along main street.  They open their trunks, or the backs of their vehicles and decorate them.  Then they pass out candy from their trunks.  The event will provide a safe family environment for trick or treaters.

Two Hampton Hawk stadium seats were left at the York City Auditorium after the JH VB game last Saturday.  They were brought to the high school office on Wednesday.  Please call the office (402-725-3116) if they belong to you.

We ask parents to please avoid driving vehicles between the elementary and high school buildings.  Students transition back and forth between the two buildings regularly and we want to make sure they cross safely.  Thank you for your attention to this request!
