Motivational speaker, “Mike Smith”, will be here on Friday, December 16th.  He will be speaking to students from Hampton, Heartland, and McCool Junction about making a difference.  We are still collecting new socks in all sizes for this event!  Mr. Smith will distribute them to people in need.

The HAL Team (High Ability Learners) are providing recycling bins in our school.  They will be collecting paper and plastic bottles.  They would appreciate your support!

The Tri-M Club is collecting donations for the Hope Harbor Shelter in Grand Island. Needed items include: Toiletries, Household Items, Linens, and Children/Baby Supplies. Items may be brought to the elementary building or music room.

The Annual Tip Off Dinner for winter activities will be held Monday, November 28th, at the city auditorium.  The meal will begin at 6:45pm and the pep rally will start at 7:30pm.  Please let Misty Mooney or Sharon Klute know if can donate bars for this event.  They are also asking everyone to bring a new pair of socks to donate to the Mike Smith program.  He gives socks to people in need all over the county!  Hampton, Heartland Community, and McCool schools will have a contest on who can bring the most socks to the assembly on December 16th!  More information below.

The Aurora News Register asked us to pass on that they have oodles of State VB photos that you can check out on the ANR website!  They are available for purchase or you can just view them online.

The Hampton FFA is once again offering fruit sales this holiday season.  We enjoy providing this service to the members of the Hampton Community, our families, and others in the surrounding area.  We are selling Oranges, Grapefruit, Apples, Pears, Clementines, and PIneapples.  We also have mixed boxes, nuts, meat snack sticks, and summer sausage.  If you would like to purchase any of these items from our chapter, please contact us by any of the methods below.  Orders need to be placed and paid for by Monday, November 28th.  Delivery will be the week of December 12th.  Contact any Hampton FFA member, call the Ag. Everyone is invited to attend the One Act Play “Feed the Whales” performance this Sunday at 3pm.  The United Lutheran Church will be providing ice cream after the performance.  They want to invite the cast, crew, volleyball team members and parents to wish the One Act good luck at districts and to celebrate the accomplishments of the volleyball team this fall!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM AND COACHES ON WINNING THE CLASS D2 STATE TOURNAMENT!!!   Mr. Huls, Mrs. Ediger, and the Hampton Cheerleaders also accepted the “State VB Championship Sportsmanship Award” presented by the NSAA!  We are proud of our students and fans for earning these awards!!!
