Congratulations to Brittney Dose, Tayler Klassen, Jesse Rasmussen, Tayma Sebek,  and Madison VanHousen on their state qualifying events at the district track meet on Wednesday!!  Brittney qualified in the 1600 and 3200 meter run, Tayler qualified in the 800 meter run and the high jump, Jesse qualified in 200 meter run, Tayma qualified in the discus, and Madison qualified in the triple jump and 300 meter hurdles!!  You have represented our school well!!  Good luck at the State Track Meet!!

Parents are reminded that lunch balances need to be paid in full before the last day of school.  Report cards will not be sent home with students whose lunch balances are not paid.  Please check PowerSchool to calculate your students lunch balance or call the office at 402.725.3116.  If you have credit in your account, it will carry over to the next school year.

Office hours for the summer are 9am - 3am, Monday thru Thursday, and 9am - noon on Fridays.  The office will be closed on Friday, May 22nd because of the State Track Meet.  Times may change because of work being done at the high school building.  Please call if you plan on coming in, so you know someone is here.

The Hampton High School Track Team is sponsoring a 5K Run/1 Mile Walk on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the High School.  Registration begins at 7am and the Run will start at 7:30am.  The 1 Mile walk will follow.  The cost is $20 per entry.  Medals will be given to the top 6 females and the top 6 males.  This is in conjunction with Hampton Booster Days!!

500 gallon fuel tank and two motors to be disposed of!  Hampton Public School will no longer be needing the 500 gallon fuel tank on the south side of the high school or the two motors that run the pumps to our boilers due to the upgrade of our heating system.  If you are a district patron and interested in the tank or motors, please contact Holly Herzberg at 402-725-3116 or hherzberg@hamptonhawks.us for more information by Monday, May 11.

Hoegh Detasseling meeting and sign-up will be held Sunday, May 3rd, at 2pm, at Hampton High School.  Please plan to attend if you are interested in detasseling, even if you have already sent in your application.  Please bring a parent/guardian and the following 2 items to sign up:  1) Social Security Card or Birth Certificate 2) School ID or Driver’s License or a copy of a report card.  If you can’t make the meeting but would like to sign up, please call 402-694-1316.

The CRC HS Track Meet will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, starting at 9am.  Admission will be charged, $5 for adults and $4 for students, to get into the conference track meet this year.

The National Day of Prayer will be held Thursday, May 7th, at the Hampton Auditorium beginning at 11:30am.  A free will donation is suggested for the meal consisting of Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Brats, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Chips, Watermelon, and Dessert.
