Mobile Health Screenings are coming to Hampton Public Schools:
The Educators Health Alliance (EHA) and Life Line Screening have created screening packages specifically for their members and on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, The EHA would like to extend their special prices to the local community members so that you, too, can receive these screenings in the comfort and convenience of your local school.  Life Line Screening’s tests include the 6 for Life Health Assessment package, which includes tests for weight, waist circumference, blood pressure and a finger stick blood draw to measure cholesterol, blood glucose and triglycerides.   This package is FREE to full-time school employees (participating on the EHA wellness plan through BCBS) and $49 for local community members, not employed by the school. (8 hour fast required).
The vascular screening tests include ultrasound screenings to test for Stroke (carotid artery disease), Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms and Peripheral Arterial Disease.  This package is also free to full-time school employees (participating on the EHA wellness plan through BCBS) or can be added for $99 for local community members, not employed by the school.  In addition, local community members can combine both packages for the reduced price of $140.
To receive these potentially lifesaving screenings, you must register by visiting www.lifelinescreening.com/ehawellness. Payment will be collected by representatives from Life Line Screening.  Don’t pass up this opportunity to participate in the screenings provided by the EHA and take charge of your health!  Please do not contact the school!  Registrations are taken care of by the Life Line Screening officials. Please sign up by March 10th.
