Attention 6th Grade Parents:  We are excited to announce that beginning on December 1st we will be allowing our 6th grade students to take their school issued iPads home to complete homework and work on school related projects.  We are requesting that all 6th grade families be in attendance at our iPad Roll Out Meeting on Monday, November 24th at 6:30 p.m. in the lunchroom.  During this meeting we will review rules and expectations for using this device away from school.  We will also be collecting a $20 usage fee and completing all necessary paperwork that evening.  If you have questions prior to the meeting or can’t be in attendance on the 24th, please contact Mrs. Arndt or Mrs. Herzberg.

The Hampton Booster Club will be hosting the annual Tip-Off Supper on Monday, Dec. 1st.  It will be held at the Hampton City Auditorium.  Dinner will be served at 6:45 and the pep rally will begin at 7:30pm.  They will be serving Chili, Potato Soup, sandwiches, bar and a drink.  A free will donation will be taken.  If you would be willing to provide bars, crackers, and/or shredded cheese for this event, please e-mail Jen Arndt at hamptonboosterclub@yahoo.com your name and what you will be donating.  As always, thank you for your support!!

December 6th at 11:00am a benefit for the Wishman family will take place during the Hampton/McCool Junction BB games.  Chili and Chicken Noodle Soup and Cinnamon Rolls will be served starting at 11am.  There will be a silent auction with the following items included: Massage, Hawks Flag, Hawks Wreath, a Husker Wreath and more.  A bake sale will also take place during the games.  They are still looking for donations to the Silent Auction and Bake Sale and for help with serving.  Please contact Angie Wall, Angela Rust, or Misty Mooney (402.725.3811) if you would be willing to make a donation or help with serving.

Kellen Farris and Landon Parsley, Hampton 6th graders, have been chosen to participate in the All-State Middle Level Barbershop Choir!  They will perform in concert on November 19th, at 4pm at the Lied Center in Lincoln.  Congratulations Kellen and Landon!!

Christian Deepe, a Hampton High School Sophomore, was selected to be a part of the 2014 All-State Chorus.  A public concert will be held on Nov. 21st at the Lied Center for the Performing Arts on University of Nebraska Lincoln campus.  Congratulations Christian!!

Kellen Farris, a Hampton 6th grader, will be participating in the Sing Around Nebraska Children’s Choir on November 7th & 8th.  A concert will be held at Nebraska Wesleyan’s O’Donnell Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 8th, at 7pm.  Admission to the concert is $3.50.
