Congratulations to Brittany Dose, Tayma Sebek, and Madison VanHousen on their state qualifying events at the district track meet on Wednesday!!  Brittany qualified in the 1600 and 3200 and will compete on Friday in the 3200 at 11:55am and in the 1600 on Saturday at 1:45pm.  Tayma qualified in the discus and will compete on Friday at 9am.  Madison qualified in the long jump and 300 hurdles and will compete in the long jump on Friday at 9am and will compete in the 300 meter hurdles on Friday at 12:55pm.  Good luck at state!!!

Parents are reminded that lunch balances need to be paid in full before the last day of school.  Report cards will not be sent home with students whose lunch balances are not paid.  Please check PowerSchool to calculate your students lunch balance or call the office at 725-3116.

Televisions and VCRs for Sale - We are selling seven 33 inch and four 24 inch older model (CRT) televisions.  We are asking $10 per television, first come first serve.  These would be great for gaming.  Also available is one VCR for $5, and two DVD/VCR combos for $10.  Buyer is responsible for picking up at the high school any time during the day.

Hampton JH/HS band and choir competed at District Music at Heartland last Friday.  The band and choir both received a 2 rating.  Good job!

ELEMENTARY FUN ~  The elementary will be hosting a "FAMILY FITNESS NIGHT....CARDIO FOR COMPUTERS" event.  The date for this event will be Thursday, May 15th. The schedule of events for the evening are 5:00-6:00 family fitness walk/activities on the football field, 6:00-6:30 healthy dinner ($2.50 a person or $10.00 for a family of 4+), 6:30-7:00 entertainment.  This fun filled evening will be taking the place of the annual school carnival, so we hope you can join us!!

Hoegh Detasseling will have a sign-up meeting at Hampton High School on Sunday, May 4th, at 3pm.  Students interested need to bring a parent/guardian and the following 2 items 1) Social Security Card or Birth Certificate, and 2) School ID or driver’s license or a copy of a report card.
If you can’t make the meeting, but would like to sign up, please call 402-694-1316 and Mr Hoegh can mail you the paperwork.

Hampton JH/HS students competed at District Music at Heartland on Thursday.  Results are as follows: Superior ratings were received by soloists Dante Farris and Nathanael Shoup , Excellent ratings were received by soloists Chantal Lawson, Cheyanne Hettle, Christian Deepe, duet Rachel Dowling and Ashley Scherff, and Dante Farris on Saxophone.  Great job!!  District music continues this afternoon in Henderson.  Results will be published next week.
